WARRANTY
Bryant’s Model 559F and Model 579F
packaged systems provide reliable
comfort backed by written warranty
protection. The compressor used by
models 559F180 and 579F180 and the
Model 579F heat exchanger, are
covered by a five-year limited
warranty. All models are covered
by a one-year limited warranty on the
entire unit. Extended warranties are
also available. Ask your trusted
Bryant dealer for details.
Since 1904, America has put
its trust in Bryant for top
quality indoor comfort
products. This reputation
comes from the collective
dedication and expertise of our
entire team from product
development, to the assembly
line and out into the field with
our independent Bryant dealers.
So, whether you need air
conditioning only, or a packaged
gas/electric system, Bryant has
the answer with the Model
559F air conditioner and the
Model 579F gas/electric
comfort system.
No matter which of these
models is right for your
application, you can count on
enhanced performance and
efficiency over an older system
you may be replacing.
Available in 15 - 25 ton (180 –
300) capacities, with numerous
field and factory-installed
options and three gas heat
capacities, Bryant’s packaged
rooftop systems come fully
assembled, charged and tested
to deliver the comfort you
expect from the most trusted
manufacturer in the industry.
The smaller, more compact
design makes installation easier
without sacrificing the lasting
durability you expect from
Bryant. For the strength and
stability needed to withstand the
strain of rooftop placement by
crane, these packaged systems
are built with a commercial-grade,
roll-formed baserail.
Electric Cooling.
Cooling efficiency for both the
Model 559F and the Model 579F
is maximized through dual circuits
and computer-assisted balancing
of the compressors, condensear
and evaporator coils. To ensure
lasting reliability, the dual scroll
compressors are equipped with
over-current and over-temperature
protection. And, the dual TXV
metering devices provide
precision refrigerant control to
optimize performance while
preventing slugging and flood-
back. And, you can choose
greater cooling comfort through
improved humidity control with the
addition of a Bryant Thermidistat
Control accessory and the factory-
installed Perfect Humidity
Dehumidification Package.
Gas Heating.
If your building requires gas
heating in addition to cooling, the
Model 579F is the right choice
for you. One of the keys to the
efficiency and lasting
operation of this
model is our Turbo-
Tubular
TM
heat
exchanger. This heat
exchanger saves gas
by maximizing heat
transfer and resists corrosion for
years with our Alumagard
TM
coating. For simple
troubleshooting, fault notification
and system status, our integrated
gas control board is equipped
with an LED display
.
IMPROVED INDOOR
AIR QUALITY
is ensured by Bryant’s
two-inch return air
filters for cleaner
airflow and efficient
performance.
INCREASED
STRENGTH
for rooftop placement
by crane is the result
of our roll-formed
baserail design.
Forklift slots and
rigging holes make
these units easier to
maneuver for shipping.
EXCEPTIONAL
ECONOMY &
RELIABILITY
are provided by our
premium quality
compressors. To
ensure compressor
reliability, we include
high-pressure, low
pressure and freeze
protection switches,
as well as over-
temperature
protection.
STRONGER AIRFLOW
provided by our
optional high static
blowers helps to
overcome comfort
issues associated with
poor ductwork or
restricted airflow.
OPTIONAL PERFECT
HUMIDITY
enhanced
dehumidification coil
wrings additional
moisture out of the air
without over-cooling it.
EFFICIENT
HEATING
is the result of Bryant’s
Turbo-Tubular
TM
heat
exchanger. This heat
exchanger and
induced draft
(negative pressure)
combustion system
allows hot gases to
make multiple passes
across the supply air,
thus optimizing heat
transfer.
Designed for Easier
Installation and
Enhanced Flexibility.
Designed for installation with
standard roof curb sizes, the
Model 559F and Model 579F
packaged systems allow the
contractor to order and install
the roof curb before size
requirements are finalized.
The roll-formed baserail design
features forklift slots and
rigging holes for easy
maneuvering during transport
while providing strength and
stability for rooftop placement
by crane. Shipped in the
vertical discharge airflow
configuration, these units can
be field-converted quickly
and easily for horizontal
applications using the
supply/return adapter assembly.
